Professional development for educators
ArtXchange
Join a vibrant community of K–12 visual art educators from all around the city in a program designed to bolster each other’s teaching practices. ArtXchange is a forum for art teachers to share and explore ideas about teaching, make art, and learn from contemporary artists. During five sessions, you‘ll cultivate a supportive professional community, deepen your studio practice, and explore the intersections of art, education, and cultural equity.
ArtXchange is made possible by the Emily Davie and Joseph S. Kornfeld Foundation.
Teacher Institute
Spend a few summer days preparing for the school year at the Museum’s annual Teacher Institute! Through close looking and interactive activities, learn how to apply object-based and arts-integrated teaching strategies in the classroom.
